Chapter 3 – “Into the Fire”

I took over this in-development level directly after shipping Gears 5. The main flow was mostly done, but all of the combat needed to be reworked and we needed to figure out compelling reasons to stop the moving platform a few times, with believable ways to get it moving again. Working with a moving platform was an interesting challenge, both technically and in terms of creating compelling gameplay around it.
